Ross is a former mature BA(Hons) Photography student from Havering College of Further and Higher Education.

As a child he had an interest in photography, passed on from his father, which faded as he grew older. This interest was rekindled when he was looking for a new challenge in 2006. Regreting his lack of academic achievement during his youth, he enrolled onto the Photography degree course at Havering College with hopes of furthering his knowledge of photography.

During his 3rd year, he attempted to move outside his area of normal photographic practice and produced some work which considers the photograph as an entity in it's own right. "It's a Photograph" was shown as part of the Refractions exhibition. Refractions was exhibited at the AOP gallery from 25th May 2010 to 29th May 2010.
